Max OT Phase 2 Day 2
A quick lifting session today. Barbell shoulder press; Barbell shrugs; lat raises; dumbbell shoulder press. No cardio since I only had an hour. (excuse computer) This is what I base most of my lifting on, MAX-OT http://www.ast-ss.com/maxot.php

Max OT Phase 2 Day 1
So after a couple of weeks off w/ subzero weather, work and being out of town, I started my "lifting" again. I do a combination of Crossfit-MaxOT-Yada-Yada-Yada. Today was pull-ups pulldowns, barbell row, wrist and bicep curls. End with a couple 500 meter rows and a nice hot sauna. The row machine is my favorite cardio piece of "gym" equipment. Hits multiple muscle groups, gets the heart rate up and it's rarely used so I don't have to worry about getting on/off because someone else is using it.
I plan on doing a 2 hour "tri-swim clinic" March 20th in Lakeville. Also started to decide which tri's I"ll do this year (I only do "sprint" distance ones at this point.)

What you (probably) won't see here.
agonizing over "PR's" ; fancy new equipment; mathematical breakdown of workouts; split times, rpm information.
I enjoy the "environment" and "atmosphere" of tri's. I want people to be able to get out and enjoy these events without thinking you have to spend 1000's of $$$ and spend hours running around looking like Lance Armstrong crossed with Michael Phelps.
